Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler has a similar style to The Cinema Snob, but she is more inclined towards the absurdity of action movies. After getting some attention on the forums of Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa), she began to write reviews in late 2009. The website was her home from 2009 until the year 2015 at which point Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on the channel, both of which are based on the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. In addition, she appeared in Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! and was often a guest on his TV show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible film for children or RiffTrax live programs and occasionally an adult-oriented comedy (including Baywatch, of course Baywatch (2017)). She began in late 2009 reviewing films, and began to gain a following on forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She joined the family of network movie critics. She's been featured on many Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as well as Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and would often appear in episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
