Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. The girl was adopted at the age of 3 by her grandmother, living in slums. Her adoptive family is made by a Filipino adoptive mother as well as white American military veteran. She claims she along with her adopted brother as well as their mother were subjected to abuse when they were children, until she joined the military. The family relocated to Texas when she was 13 because her father needed bypass surgery. They stayed for a few weeks in San Francisco with her aunt. The physical violence stopped after a few months, but that she continued to deal with emotional abuse from her father. Poarch joined the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch started her TikTok in April 2020, which quickly gained traction. The site grew to more than 40 millions fans in less that eight months. Her most notable success came from her video for the hit Millie B song Soph Aspin Send. An edited clip of her synchronized lip-syncing to the tune and jumping around into the song became a viral clip that was the top TikTok video. When she joined TikTok, she created her own YouTube account as well as a Twitter one in order to boost her fame. The fame of Poarch reached its height during the month of December, 2020. Poarch was reportedly the subject of interest of two major professionals Esports teams. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves expressed an interest to hire her as an author of content under the respective brand names.
