Anita Barone

Barone played in The Shoes, an episode of the fourth season of Seinfeld as Gail Cunningham, a chef who is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. She was a member of the team for the television show Carol & Company in early 1990s, alongside actress Carol Burnett. Barone also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife in the character's first appearance in Friends. Jane Sibbett was her replacement following Barone's departure from Friends in pursuit of a new role that required additional time. Barone was a guest on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in its first season (from 1995-1996), and then in The War at Home from 2005 until 2007. Barone costarred on Daddio (2000). Barone is also famous for her television roles in Desperate homewives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline, In the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her role as One Last Ride. Barone's recurring role on Shake It Up Disney Channel show Shake It Up was first introduced in the year 2010, just three years after The War at Home finished it's running. She played officer Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Her husband, actor Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones the ex-husband of Barone's character.
