Milian was co-starring with John Travolta in Be Cool a sequel film to Get Shorty, and also made two songs for the soundtrack. Then, she was named the main character in Pulse along with Kristen Bell. The remake was influenced by Kairo, a 1999 Japanese film Kairo and was adapted and helmed by Wes Craven. Milian is also well-known for her role as a videogame character. The most notable is Def Jam Vendetta (2003) she portrays Angel, a mob boss's lover. Most famous is her role in Friends, the TV show. The actress was raised in Birmingham, Alabama, she discovered an early love for acting. When she moved to Washington DC, she studied architectural studies in Mount Vernon College. She decided to drop her class in order to focus on acting full-time. Her first film role with Down Twisted. Her fame began to grow after playing one of the major parts in the horror slasher film Scream. Commercially, the film achieved a high level of success. Its budget was greater than 10 times the amount it made. It was also appreciated by the film's critics. The actress reprised her role in three subsequent sequels to the movie. After playing the lead role in Friends, she reached the heights of recognition. She received several nominations and awards for her performances. The show, which became a big hit, aired in the tv channel for 10 years. The actress also had in the role of supporting in the film Mothers and Daughters. The actress has received numerous awards, including The TV Guide Award and Golden Derby Award.
